HOW TO MAKE CANNABIS INFUSED OIL – CANNABUTTER
To make cannabis oil is easy —all you need is stove, meat thermometer, double boiler or pot or slow cooker, filtercloth or very fine sieve,  30g of flower or 80g trimmings  and 500g brick of coconut fat (this will be strong infusion, perfect for gummies, all it takes is few gummies to get high:). All food grade oils can be used, we prefer to use cocofat, because it is tastless, healthy and takes solid form when temps are under 25c so it’s easier to store in the freezer, less spilling hazard.

 

DECARBOXYLATION 
Is a process of heating cured and coarse ground flower or trimmings at 115 celsius for 45 minutes in preaheated owen, covered with foil. This is needed step to make cannabutter for gummies, because the process of making gummies does not involve heating as it is with  edible pastries and other heated edibles, that means that the cannabutter needs be effective straight away. Decarboxylation process turns non active THCA into active THC  in cannabis flower. This will maximize the effect of cannabutter.

 

MAKING CANNABUTTER
Best way to do it is to use double boiler (same as making gummies) or slow cooker. Fill the pot with 1-2 liters of water, brick of 500g cocofat and decarbed flower or trimmings, raise to a very low boil. Temperature of the oil must remain at ca 90 celsius, cover the pot to prevent water evaporation and add water if evaporation occurs, stir occasionally and cook for 3-4 hours this way.
After that, strain the mixture trough the filter to the bowl, don’t squeeze to prevent extra chlorophyl in your cannabutter and place the bowl with mixture into the refrigerator, where cold  makes the light coco fat solid, it will form nice pure cap of cocobutter on top of the remaining water in the bowl. Remove the the cannabutter from the bowl, there might be some pieces of flower on backside of the cannabutter, clean it and melt the cannabutter once again at low temperature. Now you can fill cannabtter in you desired airtight storge containers, class or plastic and store in the freezer.

CAUTION
Consuming edibles made with cannabis has a lot in common compared to inhalation methods, effects will take longer to kick in, and they tend to last longer, could feel stronger than expected and are better for your lungs.
